Sound design was originally quite a specific term for a part of the audio process but is now used to mean a multi-faceted approach that involves recording foley, editing pre-recorded sound effects, synthesising unique sounds, sampling and then bringing those sounds together into a cohesive and engaging sound track. With nearly two decades of experience recording, sound designing and editing to picture I can take your project to the next level. I always go the extra mile to get the right sound every time.
Great sound design is time consuming and needs both creative flair and time for experimentation, which can be very costly in a big studio. By outsourcing the sound design to me (and maybe the mixing too!) I can stretch your budget and give you great sound at a very reasonable cost. You can dial in to review or direct in real time with a remote session, all you need is a computer and a pair of headphones in a reasonably quiet room! If you need a big studio for a voice record or final mix I have great relationships with lots of London studios and can arrange that too.
