This is an award-winning series of nine animations made to promote the Google Pixel phone. The process started with nine fly on the wall interviews (mic’d very discreetly to get the most natural answers possible). Then after some painstaking sifting and editing, nine voice edits then went to the animators to make nine films in totally unique styles! Sound design was kept sparse so each sound had to really count to tell each story; there was a lot of agonising over what to keep and what to throw out! There are some personal cameos from me in there. I play Elvis, Louis Armstrong as a street performer and a shooing pigeon among other parts. My personal favourite is Angela with her speaker; the bunny and the music make me laugh every time.
