This is a very summery ad for Garnier Ambre Solaire voiced by Davina Mccall and with some classic summer sound design to bring it to life. All in all a nice radio spot.

This ad for Ford from GTB has a lot of nice touches. Very classic from a sound point of view, but it comes together into a nice piece of work with some nice detail.
An animated introduction to Relish Broadband from the Corner. Narrated by David Mitchell and with a clear animation style it needed strong simple sound design punctuate the action.
This charming film is littered with little thank yous for the seemingly unaware referee. A straightforward mix of live action, music and sound design come together to tell the story.
A small selection of the many bumpers that Amazon produced for the Great British Bake Off. I worked on the sound design for half of these with the talented Alex Wilson-Thame taking on the other half.
An example of many hundreds of ads dubbed for Currys PC World over the years!
This ad is from DFS in partnership with Aardman animation. Aardman’s character’s are full of charm, as always! The mix was relatively straightforward with simple sound design and music, but the end result is a lot of fun.
When I first saw this ad I was worried I might have to dust off my 25 year old skateboard and knee pads and make a fool of myself at the local skate park. Thankfully the library had sufficient SFX and saved my blushes.
This TV ad for pizza hut starts simply enough but quickly takes a turn for the strange. It doesn’t take long to understand that the seasoning perhaps isn’t quite as magical as first thought.
This is series of three ads for mobile brand EE, each one highlighting a feature of modern phones. The protagonist is a technophile grandma who adds a touch of octogenarian charm to proceedings.
A TV ad for Quickbooks accounting software. With a lot of information to get into 30s it was important that the mix be clear and the sound design be restrained whilst helping along the narrative.
This is a film for Google to promote the expeditions on their Cardboard VR platform for smartphones. The action follows a young boy’s adventure to the depths of the ocean with his classmates. Wooaaaah!
A promotional film highlighting the benefits of the new Ford Mondeo Hybrid. Part of the brief was to add elegant and calm movement to the car without any engine sound. Electric is the future.
This TV ad for TRESemmé features beauty blogger (or vlogger) Rosie Bea and is quite a classic beauty ad, there’s even a science bit! A fun music track and sound design to punctuate the action round things off.
This campaign for beauty brand Feel Unique balances dialogue, music and sound design to create ads with great energy!
We were on VO record duties with Julian Barrat on this great fun ad for Booking.com.
This massive international campaign for Knorr from Unilever ran to hundreds of ads!

This was one of a series of 8 ads as a part of Dove Men’s #realdads campaign for both the UK and the US. This 15s ad features Nelson and was the TV ad. There were longer online and digital vsns.
This is an unusual ad for a funeral care service, focusing on an older gentleman’s love for his steam engine. I must say it’s not often I get to recreate the sound of a steam engine!
A promo for the Nickelodeon animated series the Rabbids. This spot takes a look at their unique vocabulary… or vocabwhaaaary, if you will.
An ad for Pizza hut promoting their Christmas box with a Christmas box of an entirely different kind. Innuendo, puns and a touch of tinsel foley for authentic Christmas boxiness.
In this ad promoting Amazon’s wide variety of goods, two newly child-free parents have differing ideas of what to do with the room. It looks like mum wins, but hopefully the child doesn’t want to come home any time soon.
This fun radio ad from a series of 6 for Kwik Fit is out of this world. A lot of fun recording all the different parts and getting the effects right to tell the story.
This promo for Nickelodeon music show Make It Pop is a good example of kid’s TV promos. Loud, fast, high energy and with a super quick narrative pace. Clarity and energy in the mix are key and creating the sound design for the graphics is always a pleasure.
This TV and online ad for Amazon follows the tribulations of a woman buying a duplicate gift. Thankfully she has Amazon to call on for a homemade solution. A mix of live action, sound design and music.
This was a long series of bumpers for the Nicktoons channel at halloween, each one different and designed around the sounds of specific shows. Listen out for my very best witchy laugh.
This radio ad for Currys starts with a montage of Christmas chaos which was a long afternoon spent recording foley and a few cameos from myself and other studio dwellers.
Another promo for Nickelodeon, this time for the Nicktoon’s offering Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Included as another example of my promo work but also because TMNT was my childhood favourite!
This promo for South Park on MTV was inspired by the trailer for Prometheus. I enjoyed parodying the big over the top sound design a lot…and the change of course was quite fun too.
This ad for Carphone Warehouse quickly takes a turn for the strange. The brief was to make everything sound as though it’s in the loading bay. It was very low budget and there was very little time so I make a fair few cameos in this. I wonder if working in a warehouse is actually this fun?
This radio advert for the government’s Public Health England department is very simple, but there’s a deceptive amount of work and consideration gone into it. The excellent voice over performance switching from cold and distant to warm and hopeful over the course of the ad took some crafting.
This is the launch film for action sports collective Line 9. I was tasked with adding sound design and bringing together the mix. The brief was to keep it high energy but still laid back and in line with the track an the company ethos.

This ad for TFL is getting a bit long in the tooth now, we’ve had contactless for some time after all, but it’s noteworthy as I both sound designed it and composed the music. If only I’d been able to do the voiceover too…
A colleague and I composed the music for this charming ad for the Eyepet game for the Sony PSP. Upbeat pop with a good hook!
